Antique British Royal Navy Copper Grog Cup

Half-gill (⅛ pint) stamped copper cup for rationing grog in the British Navy.

This piece features a stamped measurement on the front and Royal Navy stamp on the bottom. Grog has been a staple of seafaring people for centuries and, despite myths, legends, and romanticizing, it's really only a "cocktail" of equal parts rum and water.

Exhibits minor signs of wear including some tarnish.
